When Paul Grey and Liz Marshall, two young lovers, go for an evening picnic on the beach, they have no idea that they are about to experience one of the most harrowing nights of their lives. Knocked unconscious, bound together hand and foot, and their heads covered in a burlap bag, the couple relentlessly search for the truth of that bizarre evening and try to solve a mystery that involves seemingly average residents and highly suspicious visitors to the beach resort town of Layton, New Jersey.
